A Gentle Check-In for the Changing Season
As you move through October, take a moment to notice what you need. You don't have to do everything on this list. Choose one or two small things that feel supportive right now.
My October Check-In
☐ Notice my energy. Am I feeling more tired, distracted, or overwhelmed than usual? Can I respond with curiosity instead of criticism?
☐ Get some daylight. Can I spend a few minutes outside or near a sunny window during the day?
☐ Protect my rest. Am I allowing enough time to wind down and get consistent sleep?
☐ Adjust my expectations. Is there something on my to-do list that can wait, be simplified, or be done differently?
☐ Keep one supportive routine. What is one small habit that helps me feel grounded, even when my motivation is low?
☐ Make room for something enjoyable. Can I intentionally include a little comfort, connection, or pleasure in my week?
☐ Check in with myself again. What seems to be helping? What might need to change?
A gentle reminder: You don't have to overhaul your life to support yourself through a seasonal transition. Sometimes, the most helpful thing you can do is make one small adjustment and give yourself permission to see how it feels.
